词作者小鱼萝莉曾发表相关微博：“一直有人问这歌题目的意思，其实很简单，Heather的花语：孤独，和背叛的爱。眺望苏格兰开满欧石楠的荒原，总是想起《呼啸山庄》的主人公就独身葬于此。漫山遍野的花，像容易颓败的感情一样。绝望，却一定要有尊严。”

创作灵感
在关于《不贰-全程制作》文章中，小鱼萝莉表示：“千言万语，化作我对野火大鸿兄的《倾成之恋》的赞赏和钦佩。张爱玲与胡兰成，《石楠》中“无论后世我们传闻如何不堪”和“不知能向谁去借今世今生的一纸相伴”，对应《倾成之恋》的“放低到头来这生这世多少辱骂与颂词，我亦无心听世界几多的讽刺”；语言转换表达之精准，实在是令人击节赞叹！
不敢说如棋逢对手一般欣悦，只能说感谢大鸿兄实则在故事上迁就我，也很开心胖翠给我了这样一首惊艳美妙的作曲。”
